Our President, Larry E. Thomas and Chairman, Larry E. Campbell attended the 2016 National Mentoring Summit. The Summit took place January 28-30, 2016 at the Renaissance Washington, DC, Downtown, in the heart of our nation’s capital. This event is the only national forum that brings together practitioners, researchers, corporate partners, government and civic leaders, national youth-serving organizations and the network of affiliate Mentoring Partnerships to explore and advance mentoring’s positive impact on individuals and communities.
Members of our staff have attended this Summit since it's inception in 2011. We were extremely excited to have our President and Chairman arrive a day early to participate in the discussion of the Short Course on the Elements of Effective Practice for Mentoring. Their input, ideas and suggestions will be vital in the development of the 4th Edition of the Elements of Effective Mentoring. The Elements are Mentor's signature contribution to the mentoring field serving as guide to assist programs large and small to start and operate effectively quality mentoring programs.
